VIRGINIA - GEORG North America, a subsidiary of Heinrich Georg GmbH Maschinenfabrik (GEORG) is expanding its location in North America.

GEORG North America, a subsidiary of Heinrich GEORG GmbH Maschinenfabrik, is the North American headquarters for sales, service, and engineering for the entire GEORG product line. The product line spans from finishing lines to special purpose machine tools and production lines for the transformer industry.

The subsidiary has been active in North America since 1980. During more than four decades, the company has sold and installed over 70 transformer lines. The company mainly serves customers in the USA, Canada, Mexico and South America.

The company also operates a roll grinder manufacturing and assembly plant in Roanoke, Virginia. In addition to the Virginia facility, Georg North America has announced that preparations are underway for the sales & service area which will be located in Atlanta, Georgia.
