AUSTRALIA - This project is committed to delivering a world-class light rail system.

GE has recently announced that they will be supplying the design, manufacture, and commission of four x 1.5 MW 750V DC Traction Power Substations to provide traction power for the Light Rail system.

According to GE, the 750V DC Traction Substations have been designed by the Australian engineering team and will be equipped with GE's newest technological solutions" - including switchgear, transformers, rectifiers and circuit breakers.

This project is committed to delivering a modern light rail system and it is expected to be completed by mid-2025.
