GameChange BOS, a division of GameChange Energy Technologies, has inaugurated a high-capacity transformer manufacturing facility in Taloja, Maharashtra. The 180,000-square-foot factory can produce more than 1,800 medium-voltage transformers annually, supporting demand in India, Europe, and the United States.

The facility will produce transformers across the 0.5-25 MVA range, with voltage ratings up to 69 kV. Target markets include AI-driven data centers, renewable energy projects, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and large-scale electrification infrastructure.

"Our new factory enables us to address urgent market needs and positions us as a significant player in the global electrification movement," said Andrew Worden, CEO of GameChange BOS. He noted the company's focus on fast delivery, customer service, and competitive pricing.

The expansion aligns with the Government of India's Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, which encourage domestic manufacturing and reduced reliance on imports. Equipped with advanced production systems and testing capabilities, the facility is designed to meet international quality standards.

India's electricity demand is forecast to nearly triple by 2035, driven by urbanization, transport electrification, and industrial growth. With the new facility, GameChange BOS aims to strengthen its role as a supplier of advanced transformer solutions to both domestic and global markets.
