Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. has announced the launch of a new addition to their automation monitoring and control systems series for plants. The new addition to the series which is capable of flexible system construction to fit customer issues.

According o the company, the new technology solution is a system that has achieved high reliability and allows flexible system construction without specialized knowledge. It also adopts OPC UA, an international standard communication protocol, and it will be marketed globally.

Fuji Electric would combine this control system with the drive and measurement equipment that industrial plants require and propose solutions that meet customer needs, such as energy conservation, labor saving, and remote monitoring. The company will also strive to expand its overseas plant business, particularly in Southeast Asia and India, which are seeing continuing economic growth.

The company has wide-ranging operational expertise that it has acquired through the industrial plants business, and the system incorporates this expertise as control programs, allowing flexible setting of combinations of control methods and devices required for a variety of processes and equipment for all kinds of plants by simple drag-and-drop screen operation.

In addition, the set combinations of control methods and devices could be stored in the system as application packages, so they could be easily and quickly reflected in different processes and equipment at the same site or other sites, thereby shortening the construction period.
