Estonian national transmission system operator Elering has contracted Merko Infra, part of Merko Ehitus group, for the extension of its 330 kV Sindi substation.

The project will include construction of an additional 330 kV line bay, and an installation of a new 330 kV transformer and 20 kV reactors, reports Global Newswire.

The project will be conducted on a turn-key basis, including the design and construction, equipment delivery, installation, testing and commissioning works.

The works are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2020.
