ELTAÅž TRANSFORMATÃ-R A.Åž., a Turkish manufacturer of power transformers, has commenced the first deliveries under a large-scale contract with an independent grid operator in the Netherlands. The operator plays a key role in Europe's energy infrastructure.

In the initial phase of the project, eight transformers have been successfully produced, tested, and shipped:

• 2 units of 70 MVA, 52/21.6/11 kV

• 4 units of 50 MVA, 52/13.4 kV

• 2 units of 40 MVA, 52/10.75 kV

The contract includes the turnkey supply of 68 power transformers with capacities ranging from 10 MVA to 125 MVA. The full scope covers production, transportation, on-site installation, and site acceptance testing, with the potential for additional units to be ordered in future phases.

This delivery marks the first milestone in a long-term collaboration focused on reinforcing Europe's grid with high-voltage equipment.
