27 Jan 2020

ECUADOR - The Government of Ecuador will be announcing an international tender in September to award the concession for the supply of electricity to Petroamazonas oil fields.

The contract will include construction of 187 miles of 230 kV lines and five substations, as well as modernizing three existing substations, reports BN Americas.

The project could be offered under concession for a period of 20-25 years. The final terms for the contract have yet to be defined.

The project is expected to require an investment of $300-350 million.
