Dubai Investments Park signs $86m substation contract with ABB

DUBAI, UAE - Dubai Investments Park (DIP) has signed an $86 million contract with ABB Industries LLC for a new DEWA substation to be commissioned at DIP.


The contract includes supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a 132/11 kV substation, which will be the seventh operational substation in total across DIP 1 and 2, reports Gulf Today.

Located in the heart of DIP 1, the substation will be energized in July 2019.

Dubai Investments Park is a self-contained mixed-use industrial, commercial and residential development operated by Dubai Investments Park Development Company LLC.
