DTEK Kyiv Grids has successfully completed the modernization of three high-voltage substations in Kyiv, further enhancing the reliability of power supply to significant areas, including the Pechersky, Solomiansky, Holosiyivsky, Shevchenkivsky districts, and the Left Bank.

The company invested approximately UAH 200 million in the renovation, which aimed to upgrade essential electrical equipment, replace aging power transformers, modernize input cells, transition from old oil switches to vacuum switches, and install overvoltage limiters while reconstructing the relay protection system.

This substantial upgrade has significantly reduced emergency risks and increased the reliability of the 110 and 10 kV power grid, benefiting 247 high-rise buildings, 21 schools, and 27 kindergartens.

Denys Bondar, CEO of DTEK Kyiv Grids, expressed the company's commitment to developing smart power grids, contributing to Ukraine's progress and economic growth. The modernization of these substations ensures a more stable and reliable power supply to essential facilities.
