9 Aug 2022

German North Sea - The platform should ensure that over 1 million German households can be supplied with green wind energy.

Christina Hümmer, Spokesperson at Siemens Energy Transmission has announced that she has visited DolWin kappa converter station, a grid access project from Siemens Energy. Maria Kosse, HVDC Lead Engineer, took the time to show journalists and Hümmer the platform with all its innovations, especially the world's first offshore direct current gas-insulated switchgear.

According to Hümmer, DolWin kappa left for its final destination in the German North Sea. From there, the platform should ensure that over 1 million German households can be supplied with green wind energy.
