FAIRVIEW, USA - When one of the components in an energy center started showing signs of failure, Doble Engineers were engaged to perform EMI testing.

With its collaborative role in the application of electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing to assess the condition of generators, transformers, and HV electrical gear, Doble Engineering Company recieved a Best Practices Award.

When one of the components in an energy center started showing signs of failure, Doble Engineers Roberto Martinez Betancourt and Oscar Montaño were engaged to perform EMI testing on several components to assess their condition.

The EMI survey successfully identified deficiencies that were corrected. Due to this positive outcome, the energy center will continue using EMI testing as part of its Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) program.
