Dapro has successfully completed the installation of two CHINT power transformers (40 MVA – 150/20 kV) at a primary substation in San Giovanni La Punta, Sicily, part of the national power distribution network. The project highlights Dapro’s technical expertise, reliability, and adherence to strict national infrastructure standards.

The company managed the full scope of activities, including mechanical installation, vacuum treatment, oil filling and processing using natural ester oil, functional testing, and low-voltage electrical testing conducted with specialized OMICRON and Megger equipment.

The operation required careful coordination and teamwork to ensure safety, precision, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Completion of the project reinforces Dapro’s position as a trusted partner for complex power infrastructure projects in Italy and beyond.

The transformers will support the local grid’s reliability and capacity, contributing to stable energy distribution across the region.
