CWIEME Berlin has confirmed the return of the CWIEME Awards, which will be presented during the 2026 edition of the exhibition, taking place from May 19 to 21 at Messe Berlin. The 2026 event marks the first time the awards have been held in four years.

The awards ceremony is scheduled for May 21, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 at the Central Grid stage. Organisers said the programme is intended to recognise individuals and projects contributing to innovation across the electrical engineering and electrification sectors.

Four categories have been announced for 2026: Future Engineers, CWIEME Sustainability and Leadership, Product of the Year, and CWIEME Engineer of the Year. The awards are open to students, early-career engineers, research and development teams, manufacturers, and sustainability-focused initiatives.

Entries will open on January 19 and close on April 13.

Melissa Magestro, Portfolio Director at CWIEME, said the decision to reinstate the awards aligns with the exhibition’s 30th anniversary.

CWIEME Berlin is an international trade exhibition focused on coil winding, electric motors, transformers, generators, and e-mobility technologies.
