Colombia has reopened a tender process for the construction of the 110 kV La Marina power transmission project, aimed to reinforce electricity supply on the Caribbean coast.

The tender announced by the government agency of planning for energy and mining, UPME, seeks an investor and supervisor for a new substation and associated power lines in northern Bolívar department.

Interested bidder should submit their proposals by August 13.
