COLOMBIA - Colombia has launched a bidding process for eight power transmission projects in Atlántico department, as part of the government efforts to strengthen electricity supply on the Caribbean coast.


The tender calls for bids for the design, acquisition of equipment, construction, operation and maintenance of eight substations in Atlántico department: the Termoflores, Las Flores, Centro, Oasis, Magdalena, Unión, Tebsa and Estadio substations, according to UPME announcement.

Interested bidders should send their offers by June 26. The presentation of proposals by potential investors is scheduled for September 5.
