Clearvise AG Advances Tezze PV Project in Italy, Features Transformer Infrastructure
clearvise AG has started construction of its Tezze solar project in northern Italy, advancing a new photovoltaic installation that will include multiple transformer and grid-connection stations as part of its electrical infrastructure design.
The 4.1 MWp solar plant, located in the province of Vicenza, is being developed on a former quarry site and forms part of the company’s clearPARTNERS program. The project benefits from a government-awarded tariff premium guaranteed for 20 years, providing long-term revenue stability.
According to Bernhard Gierke, CEO of clearvise AG, the project underscores both execution momentum and the company’s focus on stable markets:
“With the Tezze PV park, we are starting construction of the first of three projects in Italy – on schedule and with a secured revenue base for 20 years.”
He added that Italy remains strategically attractive due to its regulatory framework and solar potential:
“Italy is an attractive market with stable regulatory conditions and high solar irradiation.”
The technical scope of the project includes the installation of two transformer stations, a distribution and grid-connection handover station, and segmented photovoltaic subfields. One section will be equipped with tracking systems to improve energy yield efficiency.
Initial works include earthworks, road preparation, and foundation pouring for the electrical infrastructure. The project is expected to be fully completed during 2026 and integrated into clearvise AG’s European renewable portfolio, which operates under a YieldCo model focused on operational cash flows and dividend-driven returns.
