Colorado, CO - New power substation to improve sustainability and reliability

Colorado Springs Utilities wants to build a new substation off Austin Bluffs Parkway. They say the project will make power in Colorado Springs more sustainable and reliable but in order to do that, they've needed to purchase the land from residents and businesses. They've purchased everything but one address at the plot. Today, the city council approved the power of eminent domain to help them further negotiate.
