CHINT Electric has successfully completed the installation, commissioning, and testing of 90/30 kV power transformers with BPN units at the Menzel Temime substation in Tunisia. This project forms part of a broader effort to enhance regional energy infrastructure and strengthen the national electrical network.

Seven of the fifteen planned transformers have been installed to date, marking significant progress in the phased commissioning plan. The project is being carried out by PTD ENGINEERING, responsible for the installation, commissioning, and functional testing.

The transformers, supplied by CHINT Electric, will support improved grid performance and contribute to the development of local and regional power distribution capabilities.
