CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd, an engineering company and part of the Murugappa Group, has secured a major order from the Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. The contract is for the supply and servicing of a 765 kV transformer package (7TR-12 Bulk) valued at approximately $78 million, marking the company's largest single order to date.

The project involves the procurement of 765/400 kV single-phase transformers under a corporate package for transformers and reactors of various capacities. Delivery of goods and services is expected to be completed within 18 to 36 months.

CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd operates world-class manufacturing facilities at nine locations across India, along with a factory in Sweden. The company employs over 3,100 people and continues to serve key sectors with its electrical engineering products and services.
