CELME Transformers Delivers 28 Transformers to Estonia Battery Park
CELME Transformers has supplied a first batch of 28 custom-built transformers, each rated at 4,500 kVA, to a battery park in Estonia.
The facility has a total capacity of 200 MW / 400 MWh, which the company says is enough to power more than 90,000 homes.
According to CELME Transformers, the transformers will support the stability and security of the Baltic power system and enable the storage of wind and solar energy. The project is part of efforts to integrate the Baltic grid into the European energy network.
The company highlighted that the transformers are custom-built for this specific project. No further technical or operational details were disclosed in the announcement.
