Arteche Breaks Ground on Transformer Facility to Boost Asia-Pacific Growth
Arteche has broken ground on a new high-voltage instrument transformers manufacturing facility in Dalian, China, marking a key step in the company’s 2024–2026 Strategic Plan and its efforts to expand global production capacity.
The new plant is designed to increase manufacturing capabilities and accelerate operational start-up, enabling Arteche to respond more efficiently to rising global demand for high-voltage solutions. This demand is being driven by the energy transition and ongoing investment in power grid infrastructure.
Located in a rapidly growing energy market, the facility will strengthen Arteche’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region and improve proximity to key customers. The company aims to enhance its ability to support utility and industrial projects, particularly those linked to electrification and grid modernization.
The investment also reinforces Arteche’s long-term commitment to China, where it has maintained operations for nearly two decades. Over that time, the company has established itself as a supplier of instrument transformers and related grid technologies.
With the addition of the Dalian plant, Arteche continues to expand its global industrial footprint, positioning itself to capture increasing demand for high-voltage equipment as energy systems evolve toward greater renewable integration and electrification.
