ITALY - The transformer has proven its robustness and suitability to operate in the heaviest and most challenging environments and networks.

Trench Group has announced that another milestone has been accomplished by Trench Italia. Their inductive voltage transformer VEOS design has been fully homologated by Tenaga National Berhad (TNB). Now, both designs VEOT and VEOS from 132 kV to 550 kV are awarded as part of the TNB vendor list.

According to Trench Group, based on the "cascade type" design, the transformer has smaller dimensions than equivalent ones, with the advantages of a lower weight and a lower quantity of oil required. Tested in full compliance with international standards, it has proven its robustness and suitability to operate in the heaviest and most challenging environments and networks.
