Amprion’s colleagues at North plant repaired overhead line near Lingen

16 Nov 2022

Lingen, GERMANY - The cage can be extended up to a working height of approx. 50 meters (0.03 miles), so that a fitter could work comfortably on the conductors.

Amprion GmbH has announced that the colleagues at the North plant recently repaired an overhead line near Lingen. They had the help of this special working platform from GERKEN GmbH.

According to Amprion GmbH, the cage can be extended up to a working height of approx. 50 meters (0.03 miles), so that a fitter could work comfortably on the conductors.

According to the company, Amprion and three other transmission system operators are responsible for "long-distance traffic" in the German electricity grid - each in its own grid area. Their 11,000-kilometer (6,835 miles) grid transports electricity in an area from Lower Saxony to the Alps.
