Rhine-Main area, GERMANY - The new, more powerful electricity connection strengthens the power grid in the Rhine-Main area.

Amprion GmbH has announced that the construction of their new power line between Kriftel and Industriepark Höchst is progressing well.

According to Amprion, they are currently building the masts on a six-kilometer-long (3.7 miles) section between Zeilsheim and the Farbwerke Höchst substation. In the future, they should carry both Amprion's 380 kV extra-high-voltage line and a 110 kV high-voltage line.
