Australian electrical engineering company Ampcontrol has partnered with an ester transformer fluid producer MIDEL to offer Australian utilities and large power users new solutions for upgrading transformer infrastructure.

This agreement will offer an option to transformer operators to retrofill their transformers with firesafe and environmentally friendly insulating liquid.

The partnership is expected to improve reliability across Australian transformer fleets.
