Acknowledging the greats in our community
IEEE Power Energy Society (IEEE PES) announced a special recognition of Patrick Ryan, (SMIEEE) as the recipient of the 2020 IEEE Eric Herz Outstanding Staff Member award.
"His leadership is creating a successful model for IEEE & Society memberships by fostering member value & partnerships with volunteers," the organization said in congratulating post.
Earlier this year, our Editor in Chief Alan Ross met up with Pat Ryan, who is also Executive Director at IEEE PES, to discuss a new initiative within IEEE Power Energy Society that is empowering change - the Smart Village Initiative.
