JUJUY, ARGENTINA - Abengoa has been selected by Minera EXAR, company engaged in the extraction of lithium, to construct a medium voltage line in the highlands of the province of Jujuy, in the northwest of Argentina.

Abengoa will be responsible for the supply of equipment necessary for the construction of a 33 kV double line that will run approximately 37 miles and connect the Altiplano transformer station with the Minera EXAR transformer station located in Salar de Olaroz.
