CHILE - Abengoa has been selected by Transelec, one of the main suppliers of Chilean electricity transmission, for the construction of a 220-kV electrical substation and the sectioning of three 220-kV double-circuit lines.
The works will take place near the city of Los Angeles, in the VIII BÃo-BÃo region in Chile and will include the construction of the Los Notros New Sectioning Substation and three sections of double-circuit lines connecting Ralco-Charrúa, Angostura-Mulchén and Pangue-Charrúa.
The project is part of the expansion plan of the country's national transmission system.
