Chile's main electric transmission company Transmisora del PacÃfico has commissioned Abengoa for the construction of the Nueva Tineo - Nueva Ancud 500-kV double-circuit transmission line in the country's southern region.
Abengoa will also expand the existing Nueva Puerto Montt (Tineo) substation and will connect it with the Nueva Ancud substation where work is already underway, the company said in a press release.
The project is part of the Chilean national transmission system expansion plan.
