Abengoa completes new transmission project in Argentina

JUJUY PROVINCE, ARGENTINA - Abengoa has completed the project of opening a 345-kV transmission line and building a latest-technology gas-insulated substation.

Through its subsidiary in Argentina Teyma Abengoa, the company has successfully completed the execution and commissioning of the transmission project carried out by the Transport Works for Electric Supply trust at the facilities of the carrier InterAndes, an AES Gener company.
This project is the first part of the development of a 220-kV transmission system for the supply of currently isolated demands and will allow the interconnection of the 300-MW photovoltaic solar park Cauchari located in the same region, Abengoa said in a press release.
