ABB announced a new release of ABB Ability Backup Management for electrical systems - Data Care, which is an advanced data-sharing and backup service for protection and control relays.

Data Care provides information on protection and control relays throughout their entire life cycle, providing relevant and reliable information 24/7 at all user levels, the company said in a press release.

The software is available as a subscription-based service.

Customers can buy, tailor, and manage their digital solutions online. The services include cloud-based applications and reports, on-premise and downloadable applications and remote support services, the press release states.
