A-Rent Test Equipment has opened a new 11,000-square-foot facility in Sterling, Virginia, expanding its operational presence in the Mid-Atlantic region. The new location provides access to the same inventory of test equipment, accessories, and calibration services found at the company’s other U.S. facilities.

The site offers local pickup, drop-off, and van delivery options, while its proximity to major transportation routes is expected to shorten shipping times for regional customers. Positioned near one of the nation’s largest data-center corridors and within minutes of Dulles International Airport, the facility is intended to support electrical testing needs across data centers, high-voltage substations, low-voltage switchgear, and other infrastructure projects.

A-Rent Test Equipment maintains a multimillion-dollar rental fleet sourced from major OEMs, including Doble, Omicron, Megger, Fluke, and HV Diagnostics. The company also utilizes a cloud-based ERP system to manage rental logistics and asset tracking. According to the company, its fleet undergoes functional testing on specimen apparatus before each rental.

In addition to equipment rentals, the company provides NIST-traceable calibration services with an average three-day turnaround time. Optional adjustment, repair, and firmware update services are available for various instrument types.
